What's included in an annual cleaning and safety maintenance
check of my equipment?

Professional annual cleanings/safety maintenance checks are just as important to
keeping your heating and air conditioning equipment working properly as oil
changes are to keeping your car's engine running smoothly. We recommend
scheduling a furnace cleaning each fall and a cleaning of your central air
conditioning system each spring, with additional filter changes during the
in-between seasons, as needed.

Here is a brief list of the typical procedures our technicians perform during an
annual cleaning and safety maintenance check (depending on the specifications
of the equipment):

Replace filter
Clean and adjust burner assembly
Monitor flue draft
Check refrigerant pressures
Test starting capabilities and safety controls
Inspect blower assembly and heat exchanger
Tighten electrical connections
Measure volts/amps on motors
Thoroughly clean condenser coils
Clean condensate drains
